We need a dynamic, experienced Site Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations for our self-contained special education classrooms. This is a great opportunity to join a growing, interdisciplinary team of professionals focused on creating exceptional learning experiences for children in need.


In this position, you would oversee and be a part of our special education team in partnership with the Tulsa Public School District. This team works with Tulsa Public to deliver the highest-quality services to students with special needs. As an Administrator, you will be using your background to support a team of School Psychologists, Special Education Teachers and Behavior Technicians in many facets of our program including the areas of; Clinical Programming, Curriculum & Instruction, and Special Education Services. You will be supported by an area manager and executive director, as well as a team of several educators and technicians would report to you.  


The Administrator will lead a team that works with students with significant, social, emotional, behavioral, intellectual, adaptive, and functional deficits. You will support the needs of employees and students by providing oversight to clinical program implementation, classroom management, curriculum and instructional practices, Special Education compliance, hiring, succession planning and mentoring of employees. This position oversees several classrooms which consist of a special education teacher and one to three behavior technicians and a school psychologist. Additional duties include collaborating and maintaining relationships with clients and districts, managing all Special Education meetings, ensure compliance with all Special education policies and procedures, consulting with the staff and district personnel, manage all enrollment and reintegration activities, provision of professional development activities for employees, oversee staffing including performance, and assisting HR with hiring needs, effective communication with parents and all clientele, ensuring instruction and curricular implementation is aligned with our values, and general supervision of the program.


  • Active and valid School Psychologist or Special Education Teaching Certificate by OK state (preferred)
  • Experience working with emotional and/or behaviorally challenged students
  • Management experience
  • PCMA certified is a plus but not required.  We can provide PCMA training for you.
  • Collaborate and able to receive to feedback, mentoring and direction from peers and supervisors
  • Maintain a professional and clinical perspective at all times, able to not internalize or personalize (e.g. emotionally) in regards certain student behaviors or mannerisms that occur
  • Must have the strength and dexterity to safely and effectively use Crisis Management Interventions (including the use of therapeutic holds) of all involved (e.g. self, student, other employees)
